Tallentyne & Stockton Bus Services are transferring

From August 11th, bus services operated by Tallentyne Bus Service & Stockton Bus Service are being transferred to other operators

 

Overview

Tallentyne Bus Service & Stockton Bus Service have been in operation since October of 1987, operated by the McAllister family who also operated Stateline Express (which it would become StatelineBus after deals with a National Express - ComfortDelGro merger)

On August 11th, services operated by the companies will be transferred to CDC Thornsbury & O'Connors respectfully.

 

What will happen to all Tallentyne Bus Service routes & buses?

Routes that were originally planned will be transferred to CDC Thornsbury, including it's fleet, to it's new Epping depot.

 

What will happen to all Stockton Bus Service routes & buses?

The 315 route will be transferred to O'Connors, including it's fleet, will remain at the Stockton depot.

In addition to that, the 315 will become the 491, with it's operatons extending to Southmead. Including more buses

 

Is there more to come out of this deal with CDC Thornsbury & O'Connors?

More route services will be created, mainly for CDC Thornsbury as there is a currently lack of routes by the operator.

O'Connors will follow in-suite by creating more routes to serve more areas, including regional services.
